Intro
For my AS level film opening, I wrote my script in Microsoft Word and it was not in the proper script format. But this year I have researched about screenwriting in detail and have worked on the format of the script.
It took three days to complete the script and then a few more days to revisit and make sure everything was right. For grammar and spelling correction I approached one of my teachers and who helped me with it.
Since I am creating a whole short film I have tried to make a complete story and since it's on a quote I have created one situation to define it. Throughout the script, I have used a few more characters than I did in my AS level film opening and more locations to shoot the sequence.
The dialogues are in Tamil because I am making this short film in Tamil and my targeted audience are Tamil speaking people. The reason for choosing the native language is because I know the culture and expectations of people here, and by knowing that I will be able to produce content which they like and take interest in.
